Red Hugh O'Donnell / Donegal Song
I found this song, 'Donegal Song/ Red Hugh O'Donnell on You Tube. Since he is mentioned in my next book 'Tomorrow Is A Long Time', I thought I would post it here.
If you are into more traditional music, this one is available on iTunes: 'If These Stones Could Speak'.

The 100 Club for Writers
I am a member of RWA, Romance Writers of America. I have been a member for a few years. No, I don't write romance books. Though my stories do have romance elements to them.
The other day I had to wait with DH for his yearly check up. So I brought my latest issue of the monthly magazine for RWA. One of the articles was called: Plan And Prepare For Success. The article mentioned retreats for your writing, but the 100 Club was new to me. It means you write 100 words for your story everyday.
100 words sounds like a lot, but it really isn't.
While on the road I didn't write a word. I find hotel and motel rooms just are too noisy and uncomfortable to write, to think. I like to work in my studio and have a play-list going while I write.
Now that I have been home a week and have not typed one word. I decided to join the 100 Club. I am on day 4. Surprise, on all 4 days I wrote more than 100 words on my book. I am waiting on the editing on book 3 so I am planning out the next book.
I hope to keep this going, 365 days of 100 words or more.

Tomorrow Is A Long Time
Book 3 in the Prince of Cwillan series will be going for its first edit. The title: Tomorrow Is A Long Time is only a tentative. Even with the Library of Congress ID#, we can still change the title if my editor really feels it will help my book.

New Avatar For Thistle And Shamrock Publishing
I was digitizing an old cat photo from back in the day. It is a soft photo of my neighbors cat, shot through a screen in the apartment building I lived in. I liked the result, soft yet you can still see the cat is peeking out of the kitchen window. The mesh gives it a textured look. I might even consider it for a card.
I have used my Birthday Cat for most of my sites. Hamlet the Birthday Cat was also taken a few years back. I decided to give a different look to my Thistle And Shamrock shop and have the new cat as my avatar.
Unfortunately, I can't change it on my blog. If I did it would also change it on the Celtic Cat Photos blog.

A Little Background
Today I launched my book Prince Of Cwillan. It has been a few years since I started this project in a Brew Pub in Arizona. I wanted to tell the story of Donal Tolan and his family, friends, and enemies. When I started, I didn't realize that I was creating a new world, a dynasty with the Clan of Déaglán. That I would have to know what the towns, villages and Forest Lake looked like and keep everything consistant.
There was so much to do: Where did Donal come from, where is he now? More questions that had to be answered.
Nor did I realize that I would need to form Thistle And Shamrock Publishing.
It has been a long road and a big learning curve, but today it all came together!
I want to thank all my fans, you have been very kind, and make it all worth while..
